Baby Pikie

A number of nights ago, we went kayaking. Summer season days are very hot in Florida so we began at 6:30 pm. It's still very hot when you release yet gradually cools down off as the sun starts to move down behind the mangrove trees. We consumed a very early supper, loaded the kayaks on the vehicle, placed all the equipment in the trunk and drove the short range eastern on Manatee Opportunity to Palma Sola Bay. We parked on the right-hand man side of the road, did the kayak and also gear loading backwards, and also pressed our kayaks out in the bay.

So we chose to go out on our own. Barry acquired a hand-held GPS that we wished would certainly lead us from the mangroves. We acquired a publication on Florida kayak websites and also removed on our very first trip. We released near Freeway 41 beyond Palmetto and also paddled away from the road and via a bay. Soon we discovered a tiny passage position in the mangroves that took us into an additional smaller physical body of water. I wished I had brought some colored thread to connect on a branch and also Barry dabbled the GPS.
